== GF Protector Tower - Tank Build ==

This is the configuration I use in my GF to protect the towers, this being very effective in PvP.
-The focus is only on stand damage and protect the tower.
-My priority is: Def > HP > Regen > Deflect

Ps: I did my build extracting ideas that exist in the build forum.

Powers:

Cleave 3/3
Tide of Iron 3/3
Lunging Strike 3/3
Villians Menace 3/3
Shield Talent 3/3
Enforced Threat 3/3
Griffon’s Wrath 3/3
Fighter’s Recovery 3/3
Kneebreaker 3/3
Enhanced mark 3/3
Combat Superiority
Knights Challenge 3/3
Anvil of Doom 3/3
Frontline Surge 3/3
Threatening Rush 3/3
Into The Fray 3/3
Supremacy of Steel 3/3
Iron Warrior 3/3
Knight’s Valor 3/3
Bull Rush 3/3
Indomitable Strength 1/3

Feats:

Action Surge 5/5 - More Guard Def = more AP for Dailys.
Strength Focus 3/3 - Increased Strength equals more guard meter.
Toughness 3/3 - 9% more HP is a good.
Shielded Resurgence 1/3 - Remaining point
Distracting Shield 0/5 - Not Needed
Armor Specialization 3/3 - 15% Increased Armor and defense.
Potent Challenge 0/3 - Not needed
Powerful Attack 5/5 - Help in low DPS to Tank
Grit 0/3 - Not needed
Pin Down 0/3 - Not needed
Weapon mastery 0/3 - Not eeded
Ubiquitous Shield 0/5 - Not needed

Paragon Feats: Protector

Armor of Bahamut 0/5 - I cant use, but is good option.
Plate Agility 5/5 - +5% Deflection – Nice to tank
Improved Reaction 5/5 - Add 10% heals in Ferocious reaction, I love this feats + ferocious reaction.
Shield Defense 5/5 - +5 Armor Class translates to an additional 2.5% mitigation. Good to tank
Shield Master 5/5 - 10% reduction in the amount the guard meter is consumed. Good to tank
Brawling Warrior 0/5 - i cant use this feats
Balance Shield Fighter 5/5 - Since you will have your shield up a lot of the time, it makes sense to get an additional 15% damage to them. Add that to powerful attack and you are looking at a 25% increase.
Overwhelming Impact 5/5 - Adds a 5% debuff to the targets with Supremacy of Steel.
Iron guard 1/1 - 10% damage reduction max (2% per hit).

Passives:

Shield Talent – 15% increased guard meter. Very nice to tank

Ferocious Reaction – When your Hit Points drop below 15%, you regain 25% of your Hit Points, in combination with Improved Reaction you heals 35%.

At Wills:

Threatening Rush: Perfect to approach their opponents.

Tide of Iron: Helps you recover 10% guard meter, if you need. Its good Vs other char tank.

Encounters:

Frontiline Surge: Good to prone opponents and good dps.

Bull Charge: best for throw your opponent out of the tower.

Iron Warrior: I love this skill, recovery guard meter and temporary HP.

Dailies:

Supremacy of Steel: Damages targets damaging you. I love this vs TRs and CWs. if they stop attacking me, I will regen my hp.

Fighters Recovery: sing with Frontiline Surge, u recovery good hp.

Gear:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Enchants:

Defense slot = Radiant R9

Offense Slot = Silvery R9

Weapon = Liferdrink ( 'm enjoying your action with Supremacy of Steel, i recovery good hp )

Armor = Bloodtheft ( best option I found for one tank, won a big margin to activate HP recovery before the ferocious )

Ratings:

HP = 40.387
Regen = 8.2%
Protection = 9.6
DR = 50%
Dfelect = 26.5%

This is the build that I'm using today, I thank all who post information on the forum, it really helps the players to hone their ideas.

Thank you

    Pure PVP bunker and pretty much tailored for premade game, u will never kill anything in pug game alone...

    But u do need more regen imo, I would have change out the neck and helm piece for a extra 346 regen which would boost ur regen to around 10% i believe, while u only lose roughly 2700 Hp. And if u are getting gang bang by multiple enemy with huge burst daily or encounter the same time that 2700 hp won't really make the difference between life and death. But that 1.8% regen is gonna make u extra tanky to sustain anyone 1 v 1 and live a 1 v 2 for a decent long time depends on who they are.

    Overall good build though.

    Champion Helm of Youth, blue gear can be easily found in AH, cheap as well. It gives 236 regen

    Neck piece pretty much can be any blue gear or green gear that gives regen. There is a nice purple one named Amulet of Flame that gives 119 regen and 130 power + crit, but none of the above would come with a defensive slot.

    What about bloodied frostwolf pelt? Isn't it a blue neckpiece with nice regen also?

    There are a lot that offers regen stat and they all vary so I choose to not name anything particular, and personally I don't like life steal cause I don't run a enchant or play style that utilize it well, but I do know that Dkcandy find some success with it.
