I've been saving up AD for my companion upgrade, I have the Devoted Cleric. I was wondering your guy's thoughts on this. Should I just buy a new companion or upgrade my cleric. If I'm gonna get another one I need a healer. The healer just completes me helps me out through the entire thing as I run with a GWF. Let me know what your opinion is.

As a GF, I run with my pocket healer solo, or when we have no Cleric in the group (often when we run Master of the Hunt). For end game dungeons, I swap out to the Ioun Stone. The pocket healer does just fine with my build at lvl 15, so I would never pay AD to upgrade her.
Why make green and blue companions instead of just making all of them capable of being leveled to 30 so they are effective at higher levels? Is it just so they can now sell the Upgrades? I would be more apt to buy a Companion if it was purple and didn't die so easily in end game battles.
An ioun stone of allure/cat would be a better investment. I really wouldn't consider upgrading barely any companion. If you really want a healer, get a lillend from the AH. Cheaper than upgrading your cleric to purple and probably a much better investment than upgrading the common one. Especially when on the test shard common companions have rubbish passive benefits. Not sure whether that will be changed or not. Anyway the companion upgrade prices were clearly not thought out properly.

I wasn't expecting this many responses this fast. Usually when I post anywhere I get ignored. lol
I get it from the responses it's not worth it.
So is the lillend healer worth it?
Augment pet is the highest priority as a level 60. Among many other things, they can be slotted with heavy Defensive stats, including Regeneration or Life Steal.
It is also economically never worth upgrading any pet, except the Ioun Stone of Might, one of the three Augment pets that starts as green/Uncommon. Even for that pet it is still cheaper to buy one of the other two already blue/Rare Augment companions than upgrade it to Rare if you have to buy it with AD instead of Tarmalune trade bars.
The above is especially the case because the Ioun Stone of Allure, the best general Augment companion, is currently selling at a very rare large discount in the Zen shop. So, I would highly recommend you save up your AD and buy the Ioun Stone of Allure. Heck, buy two or more for your next character(s)!

Any class can clear all of sharandar solo, its intended to be available to be completed solo. MC is an epic dungeon like CN, so...
Regardless, 1.5M AD to get a white cleric to purple is a waste of AD.
