Anyway to play NWO without ARC? Horrible lag since using it

Hi, is there anyway to DL just NWNO and no ARC? I ask as since I put ARC on my new computer it runs horribly and the only explanation I can find is ARC as its the ONLY difference between the old and new computer other than the new one has 32 GIG RAM and old one had 8 amongst other improvements the new one should run NWN fine.

My speed test came out with 43 dl speed and 22 upload, 30ping.

I rubberband even in areas that are not crowded.

I did not rubberband before ARC or before the merge, I got the new computer right at the same day as server merge.

This is starting to wear my patience thin...I'd like to try the game without ARC and see if it works, how can I get it? Thanks

I uploaded the original installer(sans ARC). It's what I use.

I love ARC for the forums and such but hoping this will fix me in game. We will see.

trying this out as well will post result soon...

i have a lot of FPS problem even if my pc its capable of running the game and i dont have sound for some reason. also im missing the option to switch to DX11 on the game options.

if i understand/remember correctly, you can install neverwinter with arc and then uninstall arc.

For the record, it's Neverwinter Online. NWN is Neverwinter Nights. That's a completely different game.

You can just run the program directly from the Neverwinter directory by double clicking it's executable file and bypass Arc without uninstalling it.

^This. I tried ARC a while back, couldn't find a reason to use it though. Since then I've just ran Neverwinter without it.

I did the same and it works. No ARC installed anymore and I just run NW now from the .exe in the installed folder. ARC ist just needed for downloading, after that it works completely without it.

. . . . . Just to update, Neverwinter Online is now available on Steam (and is Arc-free there). Also, please do not inform others how to edit their registry and other configuration files to circumvent ARC in an ARC installation of Neverwinter, as this is considered against the Terms of Service. Thanks!
