lost lighting effect

Hiya,

I've been playing around with a dark area, turned off lights that came with the cave room, but wanted to be able to see what I'm doing so I added in a light that looks like a small sun which now sits about 8-10 feet above the floor. I now want to remove the bright light so I can see what it looks like with the little bits of lighting I really want. I can't find the light!! I've looked in 'detail' and 'layout' modes, I've looked in edit mode with test playing, I can't find any errant little blue boxes anywhere! What am I doing wrong? How can it not be there? It's a burning sun for gods sake! I maxed the distance of editable selections and I've flown around the whole area from top to bottom (hit the bottom .. dead .. rez .. dead .. rez .. dead .. double hit esc key quickly .. missed! dead .. rez .. double tap .. yay! exit to foundry)
Any ideas what I'm missing?

Cheers

In 2D editor the Component Tree is your friend. It lists all objects in a map regardless of location.

In the 2D editor, near the top-right of the window, there is a "Component" button. Open that, and then type something into the filter box at the top, if you can remember what your light was called. You don't need to type the full name, just type some things until you see it show up on the list.

Pleh! Component tree might be your friend but it doesn't like me! I looked in there for the mage sun effect, filter using either 'light' or 'sun' and nothing comes up! Also noticed the component tree didn't seem to have all my stuff in there, like it listed 1 waterfall effect but I have half a dozen, I have 4 lightning effects on a single chicken (and 4 chickens so 16 lightning effects total) but only one showed up in component tree list.
    .
<disappear to really check out the component tree thoroughly>.

Huh! Okay newbie mistake! filtering on 'sun' the list said 'Cave room - C shape small' I didn't think anything of it as it wasn't the mage sun. ahem! .. sooo .. hit the 'expand list' little triangle symbol on the 'Cave room - ..' and lo and behold there it is! Mage sun! Woohoo!

    Thanks :)

haha yes. For an interior map, components are grouped into folders, each folder representing a room.
