Anyone else have issues with the Celestial coin count resetting randomly? I play the same time every day, within a max of 2 hours since last log in. I have never made it to the 7 day bonus. Usually on the 5th or 6th day, I log in (within the 28-29 hour period) and my coins are gone. Its incredibly frustrating.
No, i haven't had this problem. i log in the same time every day to pray, though. Just collected my reward for 7 coins on all my characters today, actually. i try to plan that out for Thursday mornings, so if the servers should become unstable *gasp* after a patch and not be accessible, i've already gotten my reward and it doesn't affect me.
Always logout/change characters from a camp fire. This makes quick login-invoke-change real easy and time-saving.
Always do the daily-invocation early morning (Pacific time zone) or late afternoon/evenings (Pacific time zone) - to avoid weekly update patch-days when the servers are unstable for a few hours after being brought back online.
20-hour daily - coins are on a 20-hour cool down... you can only receive a coin once per day, and only after at least 20-hours after receiving your previous coin.
Many people presume it's 29 hours after the most recent invocation, but that is incorrect; it's really 29 hours from the daily (coin-giving) invocation.
Here's a scenario to better explain what I mean:
6 AM: Invoke #1 - Coin and Astral Diamonds (this is the "Daily" invocation) - 20/29 Hour countdown begins
7 AM: Invoke #2 - Astral Diamonds and trinkets
8 AM: Invoke #3 - Astral Diamonds and trinkets
9 AM: Invoke #4 - Trinkets
(AD are only the Daily and next two invokes; 3 total until Daily counter is reset: 20-hours.)
The soonest I can invoke to receive another coin is 2 AM - the timers reset at this point.
The latest I can invoke before I lose coins is 11AM (next day) - NOTE: The daily timer on invocations might be a full 24-hours, I'm not sure. Most dailies in Cryptic games are 20 hours, so we'll presume that.
However, if I do not invoke between 6 AM and 10 AM the next day, but I DO invoke at 11 AM the DAILY timer is reset to zero. The soonest I can invoke to earn a coin is now 6 AM the following day.
Do you see and understand how delaying the invocation pushes the "clock" back? If your invocation timing is not that "tight" - eventually you could end-up in that hazy zone where you don't invoke ON TIME and lose all your coins, especially if the reset timer falls within scheduled server down time. (Happened to me, once - missed the Invocation by three (YES, 3!) minutes. ~Harrumph!~
This also is why it is always a good idea to logout/change character from a campfire - so that you can login and invoke quickly as possible if you ever find yourself too-close to reset deadline.
Sorry for all the verbosity. I talk too much sometimes.
