For this quest you get 3x bait from the NPC quest giver. At one spot I placed the bait and got no wolf coming out to tame. So got stuck with 2x bait and 3 wolves to tame. Figured it would be a problem to complete the quest.
However, I noticed that when I run out of bait I still could place this bait and wolves came out of the dungeon. So, either the bait is a useless adding to the quest, or this is a bug ...
I remember placing the bait and no wolf came out was in combination with moving away right before it was place, so it took the bait out, placed it, but didn't send out a signal to trigger the wolf ....
