Is a bug possible that causes people who form a party with me to get disconnected?

It happened 3 times in a row now that somebody I formed a 2 people party with to do a dungeon got disconnected during the run. There is no reason to suspect that they rage quit or anything. It always happened in relatively calm situations and once even when we were close to killing the final boss.

Now a 4th incident happened in which me and the person I partied up with didn't even get to enter the dungeon. I invited that player and a second or so after he accepted the invitation, he got logged out completely. (Wasn't even listed as a disconnected member of the party, so I assumed he left the party on his own, but when I wanted to ask what is wrong, I got the message he is offline.)

    What zone were you in when the 4th incident happened? It could have been chance and server problems on their end. I ran Spellplague not long ago just after the Feywild patch with its frequent disconnect issues that have since been (mostly) fixed. One of our party members disconnected in every large mob battle, and another member disconnected just twice but in similar circumstances as the first. Both times they said that they saw huge lag on their end and then were disconnected from server. So my thinking is that you probably aren't bugged, just that the people you've partied with have had connectivity issues similar to what I've described.

    It might be worth asking people to help you test in what zones / circumstances people will or will not disconnect when partying with you, just to help you be sure that it's the environment and not you yourself.

    Unfortunately all 4 incidents happened in different maps and dungeons, so I cannot pinpoint a certain place that could have caused it. The other players didn't complain about lag, so I don't know if that had something to do with it. With the exception of the last one, their characters just stopped moving all of a sudden and after 20 seconds or so faded away and the player was displayed as disconnected.

    Guess I have to wait for further clues and see.
