So, I'm lv 60, what now?

Hello guys, I need a little help here.

I got to level 60 with my CW. I'm doing the quests of Sharandar and also participating in the Summer Event sometimes. Well, that's it, I can not participate in anything. When I try to enter any party for any dungeon they always tell me that my gear score is low (around 7.1K). I do not know how to improve my gear score. When I try to use the queue for any dungeon I'm waiting for hours and nothing happens.

So, what should I do now to keep playing with my CW?

You can improve your gear score with better gear and enchants. Start out with some of the smaller dungeons (they list the gear score needed), or buy some off the auction house/seal vendor. Queues aren't always the best way to go for dungeon running, I found the easiest and fastest way was joining a guild.

    Farm some AD with foundry/skirmish; buy a T1 set or at least 2 pieces of them; put level 5 enchantments in it;
start grinding T1 dungeons for full T1 set

Queue in Dungeon Delves event; find a good Guild.

You can grind out a free purple set in PVP or in Gauntlygrym. That should do for a start.

I agree with him, for me I grinded Dungeons alot and Gauntlygrym, sell all the gear you don't need as well as do your dailys. Eventually you will improve your GearScore my friend.

    Once you're capped, you quite.

The game has no replay value. The end game dungeons are broken and the people, the very very few, that can clear them aren't going to take you until you get gear. A: you can pug and hope for the best. You will not clear the dungeons about half the time.
B: buy your gear with Zen. Turn the Zen into AD then buy lot off the AH. Note, that isn't pay to win. C: PvP up some gear, BUT be warned you will not be happy with that. You will be forced to fight groups that already have end game gear. They will one shot you and **** your team. You might not even get any glory because you lose so bad. Don't forget your team may just bail on you. I had a match where everyone, but me, had left. I stayed to the end. I also learn you can jump up into the spawn location.

Once you get the gear you can move onto the harder stuff, which is bugged right now. Also, you will need to make friends or prove yourself an elite to get into the guilds that can do end game content.

You can make an alt. It's fun to a point, but with a lack of open world to explore it can be tiring.

I know I sound doom and gloom, but it is true. The game does have some fun activities, but nothing at cap. Best bet, make friends and RP.

OP: Do the Sharandar dailies - I've gotten tons of blues running them, and those alone should get your GS up to the high 8000's to low 9000's. Don't invest in R5+ enchantments yet - you can slot the R4's that drop from mobs for now. If a dungeon delve or skirmish event is on while you;re playing, queue up. Stay on top of leadership tasks and use the diamond exchange to shift them between characters as needed. At first, run T1's and get yourself some unicorn items. You can focus on the weapons, belt, and rings initially, as you'll probably want an actual armor set eventually, (which the seal items are not, as they don't include the set bonuses).

Obviously, it's a matter of what you perceive as fun or worthwhile - just give the epic content a try, and if it sin't to your liking, consider rolling an alt or perhaps give the game a break for a little while.

Second this. Buy a handful of the professions nodes kits (Arcane, Religion, Thievery, etc) and farm nodes. There seem to be more in Sharandar than in other zones. Save up those enchants then fuse them up into Rank 6's. It doesn't take all that long. You can sell the types you don't use on AH for a decent amount of AD as well.

I forget what level it is, but if you can get a few of the "Fight off spellplagued" tasks running, they give a barrel of goods, and you can pile up profession kits pretty quickly with them.

Spend time doing the feywild stuff you get some better gear doing that pretty sure.

Alot a good thats going to do you since it takes hours to get into a dungeon anyway. So have fun with that.

That gear score is very low. You need about 8500 to do most of the epics (more for castle never). However you can easily reach 8500 or so in blue quality gear, which is cheaper/easier to get now that every third mob drops blue gear now. So... farm mobs in shar until you get appropriate blues, or earn some AD to buy some decent blues, and combine some rank 4 enchants to get rank 5s. With all blue gear and rank 5 enchants slotted, you should be able to make gear score for anything except CN.

If it is other players and not the game saying your gear is too poor, you need to make some friends. You are trying to get into groups with people who only play for loot and who want to bash thru a dungeon without any challenge to it, just a mad dash for the loot chest. Find some folks that actually play the game to have fun and they will not turn you down once you have reasonable gear. Even if the pugs you were trying to join were not being snobbish about gear, your gear is too weak for some of the instances, period.

Also do not forget to earn the best stuff you can. You probably have invoked enough to get one, maybe 2 purple quality rings, for example. If you have been crafting, you should be able to make yourself at least blue shirt and pants. Every little bit helps.

Many thanks for the help guys. I will try each of the things that have been posted here, but I will not spend my money on Zen Market. My money is for women and drinks.

    Thank you anyway.
