Theory Crafted Build, Need Input.

Alright this is the build I was thinking about running/trying out. The purpose of this build is totally PvE. If I were to PvP with it, I be more likely to harass points than kill. I currently run a cookie cutter conqueror build. This build in my eyes is more about defense, deflection, and mitigation.

A couple of reason I picked the feats I did.
Grit, I have one point in this now as a dps tank and it goes off alot. I like it so figured why not max it.

Plate Agility, I am halfling. We start with 3% deflect plus another 5%. If these stack, this will only help.

Brawling Warrior, Knights Valor mitigates a lot of damage. I've never used the skill to feel free to let me know if it is effective. Tooltip makes me think so.

Daunting Challange + Knight's Valor + Brawling Warrior + Threating Rush seems like it would be nice damage mitigate for team. I'm thinking the times in Spell Plag when CWs don't time pushes and adds stack up.

For encounters I'd think Enforced Threat, Knight's Valor, and Lunge/Iron Warrior/Into the Fray (I've never used Iron Warrior)

Dailies I'd think Fighter's Recovery and Villain's Menace for non CC times.

Passives Enhanced Mark and Shield Talent (Is shield talent any good, I didn't know what else to take)


Armor I was thinking 2 pieces of Grand Regent, and 2 Pieces of Champion. Thats +900 Defense. I also believe CN's set is +450 defense as well.


So what do you guys think? Main concern is not specing into one path will gimp me and I am spread thin on skills. Any and all input is helpful. If you want to tell me about running dungeons and that it can be done in conq spec, I know I have done it. I am looking for a spec that is more tanky and uses shield meter.

    I like this build better for a 20% Damage Debuff to the targets damage.

    Passives: Combat Superiority & Enhanced Threat
    Feats: Enforced Threat, Knights Valor, FrontLine Surge
    Daily: Menace & Recovery

    Concept:

    Deflect/Regen build would be a pure tank using a lot of blocking and marking targets to reduce damage. Cleave to apply the Protection debuff feat. Knights Valor to reduce teams damage.

    You are looking at a 20% Damage Debuff to targets /w 50% damage reduction to team mates received damage.

    If built / played properly you'll pretty much be glue with mobs and taking all of the damage while your teammates burn everything down.

    put grit to shield resurgence
    grit is temporary only shield resurgence will directly go to HP (heals more and lower CD)

    and on tactician feat put 1 point of lunging into battle trample (damage and threat increase will be low but it applies to all attacks)

    shieldmaster is a good feat too get it if you go full protector path
