Gearing Iun Stone Life Steal Regen Spec

Hey all, I was wondering if you have any suggestions on gear that I would need to get for my stone in order to hit 1k life steal and 500 regen or 1k regen and 500 life steal. I looked all over AH, and seem that I simply cannot find the right gear for what I'm trying to do. I know that I will most likely need blue gear with high stat in regen / life steal and a defense slot for ring and neck. So far the only comparable items that I found are rogue specific and I don't know if I can equip class specific items to a stone. I am a CW btw. I would also like to know which runes are best to use for the stone.

You can use all gear including class specific items on your stone. Else you wouldnt be able to equip it with a Icon which is the cleric offhand.

Items to look for:
Seal of the Executioner (Rogue specific Ring with 478 regen and offense slot)
Nightmare Icon (75 regen and defense slot)

Depending on which stone you have somewhat, but my GWF is a lifestealer with the might stone.

There are a couple of items that *normally* have offense slots but if you specify in the AH you can find them with defense slots. Defense slot allows lifesteal enchantment.

A second idea is to put the lifesteal or regen on your gear and put your other stats on the stone (as well as you can, if you are using a set on your character this may be harder to do).

I am not sure what class specifics you might find for a CW. However the constant blue drops in the new area seem to be totally random so it should be possible to find a good item in the AH or as a drop.

IMHO lifesteal is better than regen. Regen, even pretty high, does not break 750 per tick until you are nearly dead. Lifesteal, on the other hand .... when you are dying, its usually from a TON of peons, right? At least for me, its usually a bunch of mobs rather than one tough one. Its amazing how much a high dps character can recover with a single AOE hit.

just forget about the regen\lifesteal stacking on cw, either u run in dungeon with a cleric, or run solo with a healing companion... u dont need that much dps to do solo content, and even a regular cleric companion will outheal any sort of lifesteal\regen u can stack on your stone, a stone is better off as a pure dps improvement than anything else, ull be losing too much stats when it matters on a 5 man party.

if u want some sort of lifesteal u can stack undeath rings with lifesteal on them, purple belt with lifesteal... bloodtheft enchant... dont mess ur stone with bad gear.

I took a look at his build, it's nice but the he is only getting 479 life steal from his stone. The rest comes from his character stats.

TO do this you have to pay 1/2 mil upgrade. The last gear slot is locked so long as the pet is green. Sigh.... I have 5 of em.. I gambled that the upgrades would be cheaper than buying blues and liked the idea of 3 offense and such..

Surgeon's band (ring) should have the stats you're looking for.

There are a few regen cleric icons but they are blue.
