GF - Deflection gear.

Ok, so... my main is a GF that is focused on DEF and DEFLECTION, right now my dmg resis is 42.7% and my deflection is 22.6% without purples.

Any suggestion in gear?

    Well if you just want to max out defense and deflect aim for Stalwart Bulwark (T1) and Grand Regent (T2) as your armor sets and the CN ancient weapon set. You should also get ancient rings, amus and belts in the auction house with defense and deflect for ~5k each.

    Other purples from the top of my head that you can use until you have the sets: Full Helm of the Spider (2nd Spider boss) and Archon Shield (Karrundax). Probably also easier to get them at the AH.

    The thing is, that when i check the AH almost every purples had less deflection that my blues, is there some bonus that i'm not aware of?

    I too noticed this too. And none of the purple items seem to have adequate deflect that the blue items I have on my GF have nearly double of.

    In addition there doesnt seem to be much armor for GF that has adequate armor penetration as well.

    I've begun to notice that alot of the purple armors are seeming to be quite cookie cutter.

    It's all about the enchants after you have a set you like.

    Aslo, I agree than the set variation for GF is lacking.

    yeah, though the enchants only do so much.

    I tend not to get whole sets, because the sets dont have the stat allocations I want. So I end up getting part of sets. For I dont care much about the set bonuses. Im willing to sacrifice that, but the variety of stats is limited is what I've been finding the issue is.

    Been using full blues and greens since i hit 60 a couple days ago and it's been working fine, Have been looking trough the sets and they all seem to focus on to many stats instead of the 3(4) ones you need for min maxing.
    Currently at 32k HP, 1700 regen at 50% hp. 48% dmg mitigration. 12ish% deflect. And still only have a like 3 enchants slotted with rank 5 HP and Recovery in it.
