This is great. How about the feats? Can they be respecced for free too? The servers went down just as I tried to see it
Respeccing powers respecs everything -- powers, ability points spent, and heroic/paragon feats. It's not clear from the description, but unless they've changed it with the patch (and they didn't say they did), this is true.
I used my free respec from open beta to redo everything on my DC so this is how I know.
Calm down, how far would the possibly roll it back? The game was only up for 20 minutes, why would they roll back before the launch of the expansion which introduced the bug?
Dont care about the chest bug... as long as it was a bug and not a hack.
If it was a bug... how did they not see it on the test server?
I also doubt you look like my wife... so dont tell me to calm down.
They came from.... BEHIND!!!!

My guess, they haven't got time to reply because they have their hands full fixing the problem. Since this is the launch of Fury of the Feywild, they have to get it back up as soon as they can. Giving us updates just slows the work down.
You know I'm trying to understand HOW in the name of Gary Gygax, do you call this an Exploit? It's a BUG, An Exploit is something totally different. A bug/glitch, as I've dealt with so many MMO's over 15 years and before that MUD"s and MUSHES, it's expected. Sadly if they Knew this was an issue, and thought they fixed it, at least THEY MAY Have tried to fix it. All I know is, some part of code is F&&ked causing teh lockbox Randomizer to be splooged with Nightmare's, so in essence, it's as I've said in other posts, you change one piece of code to fix things nad bango, it's a trickle down effect. Or Domino effect. This is one example of that.
Everyone, This is a huge patch, I am sure most of you are veterans to MMO's and are completely aware of the issues that comes with putting a patch like this into effect. You guys complain about the bugs and the exploits, but you dont give the team any slack to fix them before it goes live. Everyone here should expect the servers to come down a few times the first days. Be patient, go play outside.

Ok so I started out wanting to thank you for keeping us up to date - but sheesh, keep us in the loop. AND what happened? I did wonder why so many mounts were popping up since I read those boxes would be gone. Feels like a caterday like oops and is not cool. Roll back the hour and more importantly to those who keep messing with the game a question: Why ruin things for the rest of us? Do we need 2 servers, one where we actually punish people for taking advantage? Owlbear eats you and your AD =_=
Well my morning is over and I have a job to go to - so guess I will be missing day one. This is not end of the world, but really disappointing, and no i do not need another useless cape. thank you for not asking.
Best of luck and speed to the programmers fixing the issue.
Very disappointing indeed.... Welcome to the "Revenge of Caterday - Fury of the Players"
Hope you have a better day at work bro.

Yep. For what it's worth, I'm glad they're taking time before any announcements besides what they've already said, to take the time to figure out what to do about this mess and not have to take back a lot of bad snap decisions later.
I agree. There are only 32k people following them on twitter, out of the 2 million that they boast as a player base. However, I do sincerely appreciate those people on twitter sharing the information here on the forum.
The game is worth waiting through hiccups for though, to me at least. They're aggravating, but there's always other things to do while things get straightened out.

Mezzr how dumb can u possibly be? People aren't complaining about the fact that there are bugs I the patch . They are complaining about the fact that the bug was reported almost a week ago and was never fixed. Why bother with a test realm if the info from it gets ignored. They must have been too busy counting money from zen purchases to read bug reports from the test realm.
Why not just leave the chances as it is so everybody can get a horse? This way it won't hurt the economy, and everybody will keep saying "not a horse again.**** i want my leadership pack"

Well, people are exploiting it for profit, which is how most people use the term "exploit" these days.
Though from a conceptual standpoint you're right, this isn't technically an "exploit" in a narrow sense, and neither was the Gateway/AD bug.

Like read and complain on the forums or try and make light of the situation on the forums. THe Lockbox thread is so long I nearly got headache just seeing all the repetitions. But hey, come on this is a game still in it's infancy. They may be out of open beta, but to me this is still a post beta release, Where we will have hiccups and such. It's life, deal with it and move on. As they said in SW, "These are not the error's you are looking for, move along move along."

who is going to buy ZEN to spend on the test server?
Suggestion: can we turn off the announcement when someone gets a bloody mount.

Both are valid points... How about test zen for the test server?
Your welcome. :P
