You see a strange girl frantically searching the ground. Of course you decide to help her...

Quest name: Do You Mind?
Short Code: NW-DKFNSDCI6
Type: Outdoor combat, puzzle, story
Duration: ~15 minutes (or more if you get stuck in the maze)

This is a solo quest. It's my first, so please be brutal. :)

(Also that's a capital I in the short code.)

Sort of a love hate relationship here. Combat was a good mix.

The map seems lame but at the same time it totally fits the relationship of the quest itself.

It was different enough that I liked it, so I am going to give it a pass and say this was worth the ride.

That said, some grass and trees still would not hurt. Maybe use weird grass? dunno.

It was fun as played either way, so good job on your quest.

I'll trade you a review. :) My quest is in my signature.

    EDIT: Played and reviewed it.

I liked how it was paced, and I admit finding it fun to get through. :) Minimalistic surreal experience. :p

-You should finetune the environment. Add more details here and there, a bit too much of "empty" in some parts - although that's personal preference, your map kinda works -and the more I played it the more i got used to it - the empty feeling was just at the beginning.
-Should not stack the zombie spawner mobs - they are aggravating. :)
Assassination Contract NW-DOD6JMS5H - story + combat. Trading reviews.
I'm improving my quest on an almost daily basis - so if you come back to it after a week or so, it won't be quite the same!

Interesting concept, I like it. But needs polishing. Such quests are good with customized encounters and environments with imaginative usage of the light and foundry assets to achieve surrealistic effect. The difficulty is hard.

Reviewed your quest few moments ago, man that was hard, even for a tough CW like me hehe.

The story left me wanting more, who's that girl? And why does the Stone has that weird effect on me? hope i will have to wait until the next part.

The map suits the story but there is much work to do, adding grass as harbingerdrum said can transform your map and give it a more realistic feeling, i got some ideas and i can send a message to you with them if you wish, for instance you could make buildings to float.

I liked it, just some tweakings and it will be better!

    Keep it up!

PS: Left you a tip. You can try my foundry, heres a short code NW-DTNQ57N4B
Check out my campaign "A time of need" NWS-DK9TIAT7J! I'm still seeking and trading reviews, feel free to send me a message with your foundry code and I will play them as soon as possible.

Thank you all for reviewing. I really appreciate it. I'm working on adding your suggestions and playing through your maps.

The general consensus seems to be to tone down the undead area, and add more detail. In the next iteration I added floating buildings and rocks, and leaned some of the objects around. I'm also working on adding more visual diversity without clutter.

    Thank you again!

Also, "master" is a profane word apparently. :/

I liked the concept of the quest, it was good. I would make a couple suggestions. Go weirder in the landscape of the mind, the animals were a good start but think more Salvadore Dali or Beetlejuice for the landscape. During the Find your Passion part change the color of the flames so it looks more magical and weirder maybe add some ghostly or whispering sound effects. I liked the maze but there were gaps between the ground and walls in some spots, fill those with something, either random object to keep up the weirdness of the mind or change height of walls so they sink down and then stack walls so they're higher.

Great first effort and keep up the original ideas, I look forward to the next one :)

Please checkout my quest too, its a little more straight forward with the plot and more hack-n-slash, The Missing Unseen NW-DLW8SB9CN.
Please try my Foundry campaign, "Olivia's Trials".

    @harbingerdrum, @aaldaemon, @adylhere, @vephid, @sarlacc1979:

I played and reviewed all of your quests. @harbingerdrum: I'll check out the other 3 parts of your story when I have another daily.

I also took into consideration all of your input and updated my map accordingly. Hopefully it has plenty of detail and polish now. It's at version 1.1 if anyone else wants to check it out.

There are a pile of zombie rotters that aren't renamed in the "Beloved" encounter.

Tough final fight. Agree it could go weirder on the visuals, it is getting nicely surreal though.

lol my first one embarrasses me. I may get my ire up one day and totally redo it. If you want to see my state of the art, try the fourth one. Don't get me wrong, I think it came out ok. But the truth is I could do it a lot better today.

When I see multiple quests from a person my inclination is to try the last in line. I cannot be alone in the fact that the more you do this, the better it gets.

But, off topic. I am doing quests of others mainly to help them out of that review limbo nightmare. As a side dish it is also helping me to avoid burning out on the foundry. I appreciate you running mine, even so.

Hopefully, you will also look back on DYM one day, and wish it were different. Keep doing what you are doing. It was a very good and imaginative first attempt.

I'll trade with you. You can check my quests in my signature but please don't play the parody unless you're a Saint Seiya fan.

Those are high elves, also known as eladrins. The closest beings to the feywild.
They are a core race from D&D 4e. You can find them in "The Mysterious Woman" quest.

Weird quest, but funny to play, the combat was okay mixed and balanced.

The area had levitating walls; don’t know if that was due to the dream or by mistake?

The big dream area could need more love, it feels kind of empty at some times with odd details and empty places, but again it is a dream so maybe it is just me feeling this way.

Overall it was fun to play, I gave you a tip, could you give my foundry a try?

I played through and reviewed everyone's quests except brazilianbraid. I couldn't find The Mysterious Woman, is it still up?

Thank you again! Looking for more people to review!
