A few questions...

This is my first post and so, of course, I will probably look like a complete newb! :)

Sorry if these questions have been asked before (a lot) but here goes...
  1. How do you re-skin a (friendly) Guard encounter? I can get guards to follow and fight for me but cannot change the way they appear. I would love to re-skin a guard to be something else that acts like a kill-able companion. In fact, can we have companions in a foundry quest?
  2. Can we set up NPCs to act as stores like armorers etc? Something like a store.
  3. Can we affect the journal entries for players? I know the journal has the foundry quest description added but can we add more than that?

Thanks in advance for any help. I am sure to have plenty more questions, too.

Cheers

    1. To the right of the name of the mob in properties is [customize].

    2. Yes, but they do not really buy and sell as a vendor. They can give custom objects you have made, but best to avoid this whenever possible since not everyone has inventory space they can spare.

    3. Not sure what you are asking. What would be considered More Than That?

Thanks for the reply. With 3. I was thinking about updating the journal mid-quest. For example, with bits of information NPCs have given etc. So, instead of the player just seeing "Go to the temple" on the right of the screen they might be able to access their journal and see "Temple of Pelor where the ... [blah, blah]"

Well you CAN cheat, sort of.

If you use a Marker, you can add some text that punts across the screen when that point is reached.
It will show below the Objective Complete line, so this can be an effective interaction.
