I just started messing with the foundry and I wanted to know, how do you get it so that you can use a custom costume in an enemy encounter?

Please and thank you. :)

switch to detail mode, so you can see the individual mobs of the encounter. in the options of each one, you'll see the costume setting.

There is a button near the top left when you are in the map tab.

Okay I found it. :) Another question, how do I get an NPC to go from one that just talks to one that helps you on a quest?

In the story tab, you need to add the objective "Dialogue". Click on that objective, it will have a place to add an NPC. The NPC should be on the map you are suing before you try this. Then you can edit what they will say, get them to drop things, disappear, turn into demons. It's an endless world of possibilities.

Yeah, I know how to do dialogue, but how do I get the NPC to go from dialogue to fighting? I just can't seem to figure it out...

As far as I know, only guard encounters can fight other encounters. Not npcs. So you have to set up a guard encounter to look like your npc. Then have it show up when/after your npc disappears.

I think they want to have the NPC go Hostile not fight with them.

    In that case:

You have to create 2 NPCs and you will "Swap" one for the other
    1) the regular NPC
    2) Is an "encounter"-- Mob if you want hostile, Guard if you want Friendly.

Ok now you make sure you make them both look identical (Customize or Customized)

Now you can trigger the "Swap" -- This can be in the dialog, or by an area trigger or by interacting with something near them. The choice is yours.

    Hope that helps
