question on companions

I have 3: the beginning man, the rock man and now a cleric. In your opinion which is the best companion and why? Doesnt matter if its zen bought or not

At high levels the BEST companions are the augment ones (stone and cat) They directly improve your overall stats, and die rarely. So they ultimately serve you longer.

For leveling or soloing, a more active companion can be helpful. But the choice really depends on your class. Tank pets are fairly useful for solo Clerics and Wizards. Healers are useful for pretty much anyone.

The only real advantage of the Zen bought ones are their quality. While pets dont have real levels, their rank effectively acts as two levels, per. So having a white quality pet, capped at rank 15 can be a limitation in your 40s. While a purple quality pet being able to rank up to 30 has more staying power. But that is a useless quality if its not providing a power you need. So you really need to know what you want exactly before you can decide.
