I'm trying to create an animation that is a quick succession of a timer. Currently using an outdoor map, with beneath the floor -y falling zone. Problem is no matter where i start the falling in the death zone my mob takes 8 seconds to die meaning my animation starts at 8 seconds after the trigger. Additionally the second mob will drop after the first and take another 8 seconds. etc etc.
Does anyone know of a quicker succession of death for animations that require this - like a moving cart in this case?

Probably more difficult to do on an outdoor map, but you can try maybe having them spawn on an invisible platform that's up pretty high and patrol them to walk off it to their death? So rather than under the map, try in the sky? Just a thought, good luck.
