'Preview' Question/Suggestion

I'm new to forums and kind of new to gaming as well, so I apologize if this is the wrong place to post or comes off as ignorant. Firstly, I would like to say how much I am enjoying the 'preview' option and experience, but I did have one question/suggestion.
I have done considerable work on my copied character in 'preview', will I now have to repeat this for my original character in the shard, or will the copied character become viable when the preview goes live?
I think it would be a good idea for an option to allow the characters in 'preview' to be copied onto the live shard after it officially launches. Speaking for me personally, I used the 'preview' because the lag in the live version never would have allowed me to cap out my character as fast as I did due to heavy lag in some areas (to the point where the game literally becomes unplayable); that being said, I think it would also be a nice idea for those who have created new characters in 'preview' that they may wish to transfer over.

I also have a new character on the preview (Owlbear) shard. I have been having so much fun with him that I would like to have him on Dragon when the preview goes live. I hope this will be possible.

It's the code which will go live not your characters. You're not going to be able to copy them for various reasons including free stuff on test, and you can easily duplicate items and currency on test. If you're having problems with lag you should look at performance tweaks instead of playing on a server which is purely for testing.
