Bastion of Health stealth buff

Has Bastion of Health CD been reduced?

I thought it used to have a base cooldown of 20 seconds. But now it seems to be 18s, meaning it now has a lower CD than Astral Shield.

I can find no patch notes that mentions the change.

Confirmed. It's definitely been buffed with no mention of the change in the patch notes. I'm still not sure if it's actually worth using though. It heals for about 4 times less than Astral Shield and it doesn't have any other benefits (like damage resistance). It would need to do healing comparable to Astral Shield OR have some secondary effect (like CC-immunity for 3 seconds on all targets affected) for me to even consider using it.

That's true but some people do spec into Warding Shield.

yo u can spec into a 10% defense boost to all party members hit with BoH + I forget the trait name in the bottom tree "5 seconds after a person is healed by you they negate 80% of combat advantage damage " a rogue's bane, is also triggered by this ability. I would like to see 10 second cooldown and I think it would be perfect used in this context. The only issue is what to replace with it, definitely not going to remove sunburst and nerf my own AP generation, AS has to stay, so in my case it would replace healing word. I have tried it and don't like not having a heal up at all times which is what healing word is, you may not have charges left, but divine mode doesn't consume charges and if your at 0 and enter divine mode it is still useable.

Bastion of Health does triggers Linked Spirit. I do use it between my downtime of Astral Shield and the new AS.

Since divine BoH triggers LS, it buffs the party stats and it's instant. I use it over sunburst and yes, I get enough action points (especially with the buff to hots with relation to healing action paired with healing word.)

I've been using BOH since the initial AS nerf hit... My encounters are BOH ,SB,and AS, foresight as mu feature and i either spam divine shield (correct name?) or HG depending in situation and group play.. 1/15/15 linked spirit build.
    I solo DC any content
Ran a pug CN this morning... I have a vid of it.

Thanks for the vid xmean. I do switch out the 3: FF/HW/BOH depending on what's needed for the group or boss. In some cases, I don't use a heal at all on that 3rd slot. And yes, most my groups are PUGs. If I have to chug that much potions, they can chug them too as far as I'm concerned. DCs have other tools such as debuffing mobs :p.

I really dislike Cryptic for what they did to this class. It used to be a mark of a good DC for the group to say things like "I didn't have to chug a single heal pot that run!", with the changes they made players can't make that statement and so there is no standard we can measure ourselves by. /sigh

It's actually not a good thing that BoH triggers LS because it's 25% weaker than the LS buff you get from SB (If you hit 5 enemies and 4 allies). The weaker LS from BoH doesn't stack with the stronger LS you get from SB and the SB LS doesn't overwrite the weaker LS. SB is also far too good to give up and it actually does more healing than BoH does, plus it does damage, plus it's our best AP generator by far (and having hallowed ground up-time as high as possible is really pretty important), and it alone can keep a +50% stat LS up 100% of the time.

I should have mentioned that the best thing about BoH is that you can cast it at range.

Either way I have zero issues in my party and that's really all that matters isn't it? It's fair to say that you don't HAVE to follow ONE build and one build only to be successful, I think.

And I also don't use HG, I use DA. My build is heavily focused on temp hit points. So you see there isn't just one way of doing things. :)
