Two Quick Questions

Hey folks,

Wrapping up my third quest, and two things are bugging me. I've published it to see if these would go away once live, but they haven't:

1) The background for the quest within the Foundry search screens... On two my quests now I have the default (and boring/ugly) one that just says "Foundry!" in really big letters. Both these quests happen to both start in "Neverwinter Adventure Zone" maps. (Ie, the built-in zones.) When you use those maps, you cannot seem to choose the "location" on the overhead map or any other way to set the background image. Am I missing something? I'm pretty sure I've played quests that start at good ol' Guard Frinko and do not have this default background image.

2) First time I've experienced this, but I'm getting encounters that are respawning. Kind of odd. What I have going on it a set of encounters, let's call them "Group A," that appear "immediately" and block the way as players go into the zone. Once they get all the way in and accomplish some quest related stuff, they have to get back out. I have a second set of encounters, "Group B," that appear on "Objective Complete." The problem is the when the Group B encounters appear, all the Group A encounters respawn, even if they've all been completely wiped out on the way in. Obviously this gives me way more enemies on the way out then I would like. Has anybody experienced anything like that? Is it a bug, or known issue, or am I doing something wrong?

    1) I'm pretty sure it's random. I hate the "Foundry" anvil too. Looks boring and people will skip right over it.
    2) I have never heard of this bug. Check your "Appear When" and "Disappear When" settings again. Make sure that it's set to objective complete and not objective in progress. (I know, sounds completely unhelpful, but sometimes it's those tiny mistakes that give you the biggest headaches.)

    I believe if you have Disappear When "Never" it will respawn them after a delay.
    I thought this was totally awesome 'cause I was trying to figure out how to respawn some patrols - I mean it's not like Orcs are SOOO stupid they'd go "Hmm, our patrols are all dead. Oh well."

    You should be able to change it to Disappear When "This component complete" (or something like that - I'm not in the editor to check) and it shouldn't respawn. I haven't had a chance to verify that yet, but...

    Your mileage may vary.

    The banner that appears for your Foundry quest is directly related to your initial map.

    All quests "start" in Protector's Enclave, but that doesn't have to be your initial map. I'll admit I have never started a quest with Frinko, so I don't know how it works for maps that interact with NPCs in PE.

    Making them have a disappear condition worked, thanks! I'd never seen encounters respawn before in the Foundry, weird.

    Still trying to figure out the banner. The current one I'm working on starts in Tower District and actually has its first two objectives there, so I wonder if that has something to do with it.

    Encounters have always respawned in foundry and it has caused much grief. It never occurred to me to set them to disappear to prevent that! Brilliant!
