Overview
I'm basing this campaign on a story arc my dedicated gaming group ran through: it has assassination, clan feuds, politics, and the brutality of the North, home of Icewind Dale and the Ten Towns.
The Spine of the World CampaignCairn 1: By Death's Baptism - In Development
A murder during a council meeting in Bryn Shander leads the players to investigate the surrounding icy plains and confront a raiding party at the behest of Ten Towns leader, Myrkr Auga, a wise but unrespected dwarf.
Cairn 2: Under Pale Star's Light - In Development
Discovering an invasion force much larger than they can handle, the players must unite the Ten Towns in defense, or else each will perish. The assault turns into a suicide mission for Myrkr Auga, now a friend of the players.
Cairn 3: The Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone - In Development
A final assault by the invasion force threatens Bryn Shander and the Ten Towns. If it falls, the whole of the Ten Towns will too--leading to dire consequences for the North and the Sword Coast.
Development Progress
I'll post regular updates about the series while I create it. It should be fun to bounce ideas off players and share work-in-progress screens for a whole series.

I've created missions for Star Trek Online, including Vulture's Wheel (a Foundry Spotlight) which let players investigate a lover's murder in a Klingon Border world rife with racial tensions between the oppressive Klingons and surviving Gorn. It was combat-optional, a rarity for militaristic Klingon missions.
Mostly, I love RPGs and playing with player expectations.
Comments
Every time they idiot-proof something...they make better idiots.
Also a short code on the missions would be awesome.
Brethren of the Five, Campaign. - Story focused
The Dwarven Tale - Hack 'N Slash

Expect more as the city develops. There will be a lot of interactivity, allowing for investigation.Any feedback on the rough stages of Bryn Shander?
I imagined it on more of a snowy plain but the Foundry only has two snow maps.
