Hello everyone and thank you for visiting this thread. I am happy to see that some of the authors have put together very helpful threads to help promote our foundry quests. I would also like to thank those who have already played my quest, The Crucible Challenge and reviewed it.
For those who haven't played The Crucible Challenge, it is an arena style foundry quest that takes the player through six different levels of the Crucible with each representing a different theme. The arenas are as follows; Crucible of Memory, Crucible of Desire, Crucible of Envy, Crucible of Chaos, Crucible of Madness, and Crucible of Darkness. Each arena consists of custom encounters that challenge players in every possible way. As players progress further into each Crucible, the boss encounters become more common and challenging for players to defeat. Each Crucible stage consists of fives waves that continue to spawn until all waves are defeated in each Crucible stage. At the end of the quest players are rewarded with "The Crucible Challenge Champion" ring that will have a purpose in the future depending on how well this quest is received.
As it stands, The Crucible Challenge can be completed as both solo and/or party depending on player skill and gear. For those that plan on running this quest as level 60 solo be warned that it might be difficult to run as a Wizard or a Cleric solo. I am planning to accommodate this issue in the near future by giving you a choice to choose companions to fight by your side. Depending on your constructive feedback this addition might change.
I look forward to receiving your feedback and criticism on how I can improve The Crucible Challenge quest. Please feel free to post your quest if you would like me review your quest.
UPDATE: 1.02
- Added companion support for those that wish to have a companion based on their group size.
- Added fighter and tank companion selection for each Crucible.
- Updated final boss to be more challenging.
BUGS:
*Currently there is a known bug that happens with CW and Cleric Knockback/Push skills. When testing, I strongly advise not trying to push mobs out of arena as there is no way to kill creatures that fall down into the pit. If anyone knows of something that can act as a kill volume, please let me know.
