Can't bid on item in auction house

When an item in the auction house that I'm bidding on goes below the one minute mark, the place a bid button grays out and says I can't bid on the auction anymore even thought I have plenty of astral diamonds to try to bit on the item with. This is very frustrating, can't win anything in the AH without buying them out because of this, is this a bug or is it intended?

I had this happen to me today. I had a bid on an item earlier, then got outbid with a little over a minute left. When I tried to rebid I couldn't. Just had to watch the time run out and do nothing. The bugs in this game are really disappointing.

This has happened to me twice in the last week. First time 30 seconds remained, second time 2 minutes remained. Both times I could not bid because it was "locked from bidding", yet I had plenty of AD to bid.

What gives? Why is this happening? Is there a random timer that prevents users from "sniping" auctions? If so, who cares? The seller would make way more money in those last couple minutes than the last 4 days, 23 hours, 58 minutes.

This needs to be fixed ASAP.

This has happened to me all the times that I tried to bid. Normally, I don't follow auctions to the last minute, unless i am really interested in the item. With 2' to go, when I try to bid I get "Your bid couldn't go though. Unknown error. Please try at a later time". What later time, when the bid has expired? Then, with still 60" to go, biding button is grayed out and overlaying text says "Biding has expired". How so? It has another 60" to go. Still some people are able to place a bid during this time (I see the final bid after the sale expires).

This is not only unfair, but also shows no respect for people's time. Smt you have to wait for 4-5 days for this "fiasco" to take place. Furthermore, since AD are exchanged to zen and these to real money, some legal action may be appicable. I am not happy at all, having waisted all this time on this, but despite having issued 2 tickets on it, PW doesn't get it.

I'm kind of relieved to learn I wasn't the only one! but I'm annoyed with this. is it possible that:
a) the owner of the item pulled it out before it expired?
b) the timer is delayed for some reason?
a few days ago I was bidding on a t2 item and being wary about this bug or whatever I made sure I was winning until the last second. after the auction expired I was flabbergasted to receive a mail saying I was outbid instead of the item I won! it seems somebody during the last minute was able to bid but somehow I didn't see it. wth is going on?

Had the same problem that atbitrer. I just have not been able to bid at all

This is intentional I believe to prevent auction snipers, but of course it doesn't work lol. They learn just to do it before the last minute mark. This is not a bug.
