There is a slight difference (you can see it best on the lighting effects on the stairs). It's not anything crazy, but generally if things have the same name, such as Skyfade Black here, they are going to be very similar.
NW-DPTTECLTF - Cindy Jones and the Holy Stein. A simple but hopefully entertaining foray into the world of Foundry.
There's a huge difference between the two. In the second one you can see the sparkly trail. The first one makes Fable players want too rip out their hair in frustration of not knowing where to go.
You will actually see the most difference the further away from the character the objects are... Look at the tower for instance... That's where she skyfade comes into effect... The further away stuff is, the darker/lighter/bluer etc they will be.

4. When All is Said and Done... - Look at the picture
@wushin: haha.. I think that's just because in the 1st one I was standing in a slightly different position, so the computer has auto-calculated a different sparkly trail. It's still there, just off to the right hand side of the screen. And I'm sorry.. I don't get the fable reference
@sourcreamking: Aaah, I see exactly what you mean. I'm trying to make an exterior map dark-ish, for night time. Unfortunately, my options seem to be limited to night time skies without a skyfade.. Which, frankly, isn't very dark at all, or this pitch black can't-see-the-ground mess. I haven't found any way to do an in between one yet.

The sparkly trail telling you where to go is a rather prominent stable of the Fable series. If the devs just put in an alignment system like Fable had it would make this the best MMO ever.
Oh, I see. I've never played any of the fable games
I played 2 and 3, both were disappointingly short, but it had some really innovative ideas. The hack and slash game play is very similar to this one.

You may want to see how loose light sources (the glows, point, etc, not torches, fires) will effect your map's floor. Though that may take quite a while to get right, you'd have more control over it. Try using colours that do not draw the eye too much but still give your floor back.
Alternatively, using campfires will heighten visibility on the path taken. As I know what you are planning to plant there in ways of mobs, campfires won't feel out of place.
Water will also aid in lighting the area, though I'm doubting that specific area will have a lot of uses for waterplanes. Toss one in to see if it will work at all, just for testing purposes, least it could do would be to make it more visible where one may drop off.
(I've yet to use cloud cards and am uncertain how they scatter.)
Natural looking night maps are a pain, though, I admit.

Mostly, I just want it to not make the ground as dark as it is. Oh well. I'll figure something out
