Astral Shield bug? Or Legit Change?

After attempting to play my Cleric for most of the day, I've found Astral Shield to be annoyingly bugged.

First off, it is bound to my R key. Usually, I would Press R, move mouse cursor to where I want to place my AS, and then click the mouse button.

Now, when I use it, I press R, move mouse cursor to where I want it, and click my mouse, and get "Must have a target". Alright, you know what, good change. *Place cursor over team member and click* Then I get "Must have a target" again.

Is there a new way to cast Astral Shield that I haven't heard about?

    I used it yesterday and no problem.. however I double press R instead of moving the cursor

    As of the patch just now (.27), it's back to letting me Click the location again.

    So yea, maybe it was just a glitch in my game, or something.
