I am very patient. Patiently waiting for a game that isn't f2p with a cash shop. Cash shops destabilize everything. While I'm still logging in daily to invoke out of false hope this game will actually turn into something worth investing time into the repetitive nature of the whole game is off-putting. No explorable content, nothing that can't be skipped ad nauseaum. Sorry the game is balanced around the cash shop; like just about every other game with one in it. It's ok! Getting my pockets plundered isn't my cup of tea. It may be yours and that is ok. You get whatever you want out of it. I'm patiently waiting for a developer to get it right; for one that will actually release a game when it's ready (not when it's half done) as games that are better build will net a better bottom line in the long-run. Absolutely nothing is balanced in this game. that is the sad truth; and at this rate it never will be. That is ok to me. I'll leave the game to you poor suckers that just started playing it. In a month or two you will see just how bad it is and move along.
I would suspect half off the problem are the missing info on perfectworld Neverwinter forum.
I know they twitter / facebook, but i am an old dude / cia spys on those, and i totally refuse to use any off those.
SO if they actually posted some on this official forum, maybe the hate would be less. Even if its F2p and kids / trolls exist.
Bards are awesome ... music and great tales off adventures.

Then why are you still here on the forums posting? Shouldn't you be *****ing and whining on your current game forum instead of one you've quit... I don't understand this, do you just have that much time on your hands?
Those decades old MMOs you mentioned had way more content on their releases, and were not "beta". Thats the problem with these new free to play games.... they get released way before they are actually finished because they want to make money now.
EQ was always a monthly subscription and is still up and running and still has new content and sequels. This game like many other f2p models are flash in the pan, short attention span games that wont be around for the long haul. They are designed to make a quick buck, then abandoned.
I suggest you look to Elder Scrolls Online, due to release sometime later this year for the game you really want to play...
Old games were full of bugs too. EQ, Ultima, WoW just to name the few.
Alterac Valley in WoW was so bugged it was impossible to play when it appeared.
TESO's release - Spring 2014.
"Neverwinter" is not in a dying state.
But players should complain. Devs gather all info and make priorities.
But it is the wrong priorities and crucial bugs that might hurt this game in a mid-term.
Honestly, so far I'm very happy with the game (which may surprise people if they've read some of my other posts).
Only two things stand out and truly irk me, which I can *hope* over time may get addressed. It'd really only make me sit back and have to evaluate a long term investment in the game if they came out and said no no no no way ever.
1) Access to all skirmishes for characters who have outleveled the ability to queue into them
And this is just because on my first character, my "main," I outleveled the first one while in queue for it and now can't finish a few achievements and get a title. I'm a completionist and this sort of thing actually would bug me over time. Sad huh. First day of play and I had no way of knowing. By the time I found out I had too much invested. And honestly, they have a lot of content invested in those skirmishes, it's a shame to level cap them without making some epic version available -- or putting doors on them or something.
2) Lore. I'm not used to playing where you can't access things later. (Obviously huh.) The thought that I can't go back and find something again, if I missed it. I like scavenger hunts. And I don't play with pixie dust trails on. I walk walls, wander, kill all mobs. Generally don't tend to rush. But I also don't want to play with a checklist if I miss some easter egg and one day discover it on an alt and want to go back and get it on another character. (Non class / race specific stuff.)
After so many years of juggling alts, and I can understand I've played D&D since forever, on and off, there is a part of me that still wishes for the simplicity of being able to play a whole game with just one character
Sure I have feature and enhancement requests, but these are the only two things that seem enmeshed that I'd want to sort of crack open. I LIKE to explore.
I suggest you look to - [game name snipped] - due to release sometime later this year for the game you really want to play...
Please don't do that, it just gives the Mod a reason to shut down and hide entire discussions or debates against or for the game, the trigger finger has been known to seem very itchy at times.

Way ahead of you, intrigued by EQN and FF14RR as well

Ages huh? This statement is stupid. You're the type of people the OP is talking about.

So how weak are those for complaints? :P
