Best T1 and T2 sets valuewise

Just looking for some quick opinions here. I've been rocking the same PvP set for awhile now. Just upgraded my mainhand and offhand to Murderous Jester's, but it seemed like just a little bang for a decent amount of AD (about 290k)

So, best budget set for Rogue and what sort of Gear Score can I expect to get from it...

Would never make claims that it's the best gear option, but my set was fairly cheap and seems alright. I'm using 2 pieces of Shadewalker set (head, boots) for the 400 power bonus and 2 pieces of Sinister Shade (chest, arms) for the 450 crit bonus. Main hand is the drake seal dagger and off hand is a Master Assassin's Ornate Dagger that I found on the cheap. With mostly rank 5 enchants and no weapon or armor enhancements installed yet, it's about 10.5 GS. Hopefully adding lesser soulforged and lesser plaguefire in the next couple days will up the GS a bit.

    They won't.

Thanks for the tip. I'm at about 8.9 GS now with the PvP HAMSTER, but that's with all Lesser Tenebrous in the offense slots. Looks like I'll have to build a PVE specific set to get a decent GS.

Yeah, the armor and weap enchants don't do anything to your gearscore, but they can improve your build.

I'd go for Blue slotted shirt and pants. You can get them for about 70k per or so.

Unless its changed, the non-socket purple shirt and trousers were relatively inexpensive too. The ones that have sockets are the expensive ones.

Thanks for the tips manholio and kabothoriginal. Still going to get my armor enhancement next (sitting on a coal ward and 3 soulforged shards, probably pick up the 4th after work tonight) but I'll probably focus on the shirt and pants upgrades before the lesser plaguefire.

When leveling up in PvP do we get to buy gear? Or does gear really not make any considerable difference until 60 anyway?

I didn't level up PVPing, so I'm not sure about your first question. But I didn't start worrying about specific gear until I was close to 60. Leveling is just so quick that you'll likely out-level an item within a day or two of getting it.

All the PvP gear is 60th level. The Rogue set is pretty nice for PvP, as it grants you 20% more uptime for stealth.

Ok, so should I bother with gear at all while leveling? I haven't used the auction house or anything, I just use whatever gear I get from quests, etc.

I'd like to maximize my damage output while leveing/pvp'ing though

I'd save your AD for when you hit 60. The stuff you get questing PVE is good enough to get you through content, and the pre 60 gear in PvP is almost certainly going to be inferior to the PvP set you earn at 60. Just tough it out till you cap.
