Suggestion - Add Notification and/or "Glow" to Gateway Tabs

Greetings. I'd like to make a request of the Devs to consider a change for the Professions Tab in the Gateway.
When I get a new message in Facebook, two things happen: one, the tab itself updates to indicate I have a message waiting (in Chrome, there's a glow that cycles over the tab basically telling me I need to pay attention). Two, if I have the functionality enabled, I get a popup notification that tells me I have that message, even if my browser is minimized,. I believe at least Chrome and Firefox have these capabilities.
I would like to request the devs consider adding similar functionality to the tracker. Right now, I keep the Gateway pinned so I can have quick access every time I open the browser. I'd love for this to have the rolling glow notifying me that I have a task complete to check on. I'd love it even more if I had a notification pop-up telling me to check the tab.
