Are there any plans for Guild vs Guild territory wars... You know like sieges in other mmos.
And guild bases... other guild activities.
Dungeons for 20+ ppl.
Open pvp map would be nice also. Someplace you can always go to fight ... one for solo, one for party ...
Im starting to think there isnt any plans for any sort of guild anything at this point or in the far future. The guilds have remained untouched for so long and so very many people have asked for so many things, yet not a one response from a staff member. There could be so much more to the game if they did guild stuff. Guild vs guild, guild leveling (like in STO), even just more items on the guild interface. That is so lacking. I really enjoyed the game till I got to 60, then there wasnt anything fun anymore. I dont feel like constantly doing the same thing over and over and over again for the boons, Guantlgrym or however you spell it is a complete disaster, Icewind Dale isnt a whole lot of fun either. Such a shame for what could continue to be a fun game.
Remember that it is not just Cryptic's decision on how far to go with Guilds. WotC has quite a bit of say on how the game develops, and if they want Cryptic to concentrate on other areas, then Guilds will not develop in the way you want. Right now the main points of emphasis are The Sundering and the Tyranny of Dragons. Guild wars and the like would require quite a bit of the limited resources that Cryptic has at it's disposal.
There is open world, but it is designed poorly. What i mean by that is that Cryptic designed it to prevent/hinder seamless guild integration probably to protect newbies and fragile PVE players and what-not.
