Does power scale well now?

At the moment i only have 3k ish power (@lvl 60); so was thinking of boosting it.

The reason i am asking is I am planning of boosting my power stat (as i am very happy with my recov and crit). I am looking for a way to get my Healing word to crit heal on divinity for 6k-8k ish. the best I've done so far is 4k only.

Some may be asking why the Hell would i use HW. well with how the agro works and mob flow... i am no longer the one kiting and running away from mobs most of the time. Nor do I have the pleasure of having a static team.

Healing Word(HW) is my best option for healing someone who kites and far from me. Unlike before when clerics hold agro, I can use FF and AS to kite a bunch of ads while my cw does her thing, nowadays specially if the tank doesnt help the CW, the cw will get mobbed and cant seem to cast his controlling spells. Also CW AP regen seems to have been nerfed.

Last point.... cant always find a good cw that can manage mob well. Heck in a couple of T2 dungeons (if not most) the tank just agro all mob and runs around while the others dps the boss as quickly as possible and the cleric just heal the tank once in a while.

Power is still the best dump stat once you hit soft-caps on recov/crit/def, since AFAIK it doesn't get hit with DR. It's just that the returns you get from power are pretty miniscule (something like 25:1 Power:Healing/Damage). Somebody correct me if i'm horribly wrong btw.

that was true before ..... but how about post patch on the live server. I dont want the test server versions.... as some dont always make it to the live server.

In the old agro system, I could predict who needs healing the most and it was usually the cleric.......... hahahahahaha but now. Good luck with pugs.

Nothing was changed on how the stats work AFAIK. So unless it was ninja-changed I wouldn't know exactly.
