AoE target limit

this really needs to go... it's ridiculous to use an AoE within a group of mobs but only to have it affect 5 enemies out of 10...

    With the way mobs group, being hard to target specific mobs, I agree. I didn't even know this was the case, with the bad tooltips and all.

    AoE should mean anything within the area ._. I dont like the idea of having any limit. Also, I get enjoyment out of seeing numbers pop up (ah good old RO[Gravity])

    AoE type classes would be more fun if we had dungeons with hordes of trash that are difficult to manage without someone smashing 20+ at a time. BUT I DONT WANT TO SEE THAT AS A MECHANIC FOR ALL BOSSES/DUNGEONS. *coughs*

    Many games limit trargets that can be affected by AoE, this is for balancing purposes so you don't pull 100 mobs and AoE them in 2 seconds.

    +1 agree, the point of the effect hitting an area is that it hits everything in the area.

    Both AoE classes can have skills that hit more than 5 enemies. I do wish that clerics at least could hit more than 5 though.

    Played a wiz for a while and all this time i thought i was doing damage to all mobs. I guess not. And now i'm sad :(
    I agree, limit has to go please.

    From what I know, Arcane Singularity, Ice storm, steal time, shield burst, and tab-repel are the CW with no mob limit (or FAR more than 5) and Weapon master strike and slam for GWF. Might be other skills that I am missing.

    Steal Time also has no target limit.
