block + prone

am i supposed to keep getting knocked prone by enemy attacks even though i am blocking them?

i just did a skirmish and i got killed because of this one thing. i block the damage, get knocked prone anyways, then proceed to get pummeled because i cant even use a potion.

the time i died it was especially bad because i had aggro on everything, got knocked prone, got knocked prone again, got knocked prone again, dead.

i cannot dodge on my GF. this cannot be intended.

It's one of the many issues with current block, which they just fail to adress so far.
