    After 20 minutes stuck at 53%, 866.7MBs increased to 870MBs patched. Then went back to 0%. Then quit that and instead offered me a "Patch" button. I pressed it, because yes, i'd quite like that!

    same I pressed the patch button and was sent to a form to fill out to get the patch with a copy of aol in the mail :(

    Eh, the servers are down anyhow. Even if you downloaded the update in its entirety in only a few seconds, you would still be waiting to get in.
