So it seems some objects can't be moved while i'm messing around in 3D mode, do anyone know why this is or is it just me?
So far i've noticed it on some human buildings. It gets pretty annoying to swap between 3D and normal layout all the time to get them placed right.
I see, thanks for the quick reply! Not knowing is horrible. Hope they get it fixed in some patch in the future.

As rap said, anything you add is movable, but anything included with your starting map is not.
But perhaps you meant something else?
Before June 20th launch date (and Foundry update)...
If you copied (or cut) and pasted an object in the 3D preview mode, the new object doesn't have a visible box in which to focus your camera on. However, you can still move your camera cursor to highlight that new object and move/rotate it. You just have to remember where that box is for any specific object you pasted.
Otherwise I'd do the Ctrl-Tab and Accept to reload the collision detection on objects. That will give you a box when you Ctrl-Tab again later to move/rotate objects.
This map had no items from the start, i'm talking about certain houses that i have added myself, they don't have that little white box and i can't highlight them either. I guess it might be something that isn't finished yet.
Yes, the OP is right. Some detail objects (some village houses, many, if not all, of the interactable/openable doors) cannot be moved in 3d edit mode. It has nothing to do with premade environments.
Simple solution: If you want to place an object exactly at some point, make an object in editor that is movable, move it in 3d editor, write down the coordinates and then move your desired object to those coordinates in foundry. Worked for me several times.

Hammerfist Clan. Jump into the Night: NW-DMXWRYTAD
Siegebreaker - NW-DGDPWV2U5 - story about the ambush, escape and great rescue of the city.
I'm a streamer and I know it!
It does work well for NPCs, though.
