Mixing up bonuses; Stalwart is 5% of your maximum hp as power when hit, up to 5 stacks; so around 6k power minmum, more if you have high con.

Thanks was thinking of the other set when I typed the reply. But I still would like to see the math for the bonus of the 5 stacks as we are talking about almost doubling your power.

Pre Stalwart buff: 7146 power Cleave Damage: 977 avg

After Stalwart: 14496 power Cleave Damage: 1257 avg

After you multiply the bases by the million multipliers GFs have it ends up being quite a hefty dps increase.

10% additional At Wills, 15% more Cleave, 10% additional Combat Superiority , 15% more Trample of the Fallen, 15% more from Temporary HP, etc.

The ones who say *MORE* damage multiply everything else (if i'm not mistaken). It just scales massively.

Those multipliers act after ability dmg calculations; they are just multilplying your dmg by X%. But yeah, if you multiply a bigger base you are getting the same % increase but you effectively get more dps out of the multiplier.

That's what I meant, the argument "that's only 800 damage!" is invalid when yu can hit almost 100% bonus damage with all your multipliers up.

Just pointing htat out, that's the real strength of the GF, they have larger %'s on their bonuses and more bonuses than any other class, the fact that they can hit stupid levels of power with minimal effort just compounds with that fact.

Edit: actually, over 100%; Forgot abotu tide of iron being -10% damage resistance, which is effectively +10% damage. <INSERT OVER 9000 JOKE HERE>

Where did you get these numbers? I am curious because if you have a greater plague itll affect the #s alot, also for 7146 power Cleave Damage: 977 avg seems a little low to me... I am constantly hitting over 1k and I have less base power (maybe its because of greater plague).

Also a vorpal enchant will almost double the effectiveness of crit meaning if you get 10% from timeless @ 75% current = 7.% increase. Add a vorpal and your over 15% increase in pure base damage.

I still think Stal+greater plague comes out on top, I just think it would be fun with timeless and vorpal.. Be more of a huge burst dps machine..

Those are the base values before any multipliers. Also PF is a roughly 15% dmg increase.

Also the % increase from crit is: DMG(1-Crit)+Crit*Dmg*Critdmg

awh makes more sense, was going to say im hitting ur stall dmg in pre-stal but that must be from the arm pen
(brb going to go get an avg dmg swing)

    k i got 1084-1267 pre-stall (4011 pwr) hitting dumbies no debuffs
    (Cleave)
    Passive Supp/trample i got 1115-1543
    FearITsSelf #1 GF
    From #1 Guild Pve/Pvp [ Lemonade Stand ]

Tide of Iron is a 20% damage increase on 22% DR mobs. GPlaguefire is 11%. Therefore, Tide of Iron is closer to 90% DR.

If all these multipliers were "additional" (1 + all multipliers) instead of "more" (Multiplier*Multiplier), GF dps wouldn't be nearly as insane.
