patching Saturday Morning

I would like to thank the Cryptic employee who decided that is was a great idea to send out a 1.589 GB patch.

I love waiting for the game to update and even if I turn off on demand patching it stills restarts.

Gratz to the Cryptic team wonderful idea please keep them coming.

I love waiting at my keyboard.

And BTW when are we going to be able to unbind companions...

No rush take your time I will be playing Dragon's prophet...

    You can cancel out of the patch, and just play.

    Quit the launcher, then restart it. It'll give you the Play option.

    So when would you like them to patch the game? It is immaterial when they send out a patch, as it will always inconvenience somebody. If they patch it at 0300 your time, it is 0900 for somebody else on the globe.

    It's prepatching, cryptic does that quite often before game updates. You can close the window, but if you don't pre-patch, you'll have a lot of trouble to get in game on June the 20th. Your decision. You can leave your computer on while the patch is downloading and watch a movie / cook / whatever (the prepatch is downloaded only when you exit the game for a reason), or you can choose to wait for 5-6h when the update goes live.
