What was Wrong with Wilfred's Voice?

So I was reading through the list of new changes in the upcoming super patch and highlighted in green were apparently the "hot topic" changes that everyone was talking about. One of those I happened to notice was that the voice of Private Wilfred in the tutorial was changed, which I find rather odd.

Was there something glitchy about his voice, or did people just not like it?

    I know some people didn't like how it sounded.

    I actually found his voice perfect for the character - he came across just like a hopelessly naive rookie.

    I agree. I found his voice to be pretty memorable too. Especially his: "VALINDRA!"
    I guess we'll just have to wait and see to find out what his new voice sounds like.

    good voice-acting actually but who knows, maybe they found someone better
