Random Fps Drop on GTX 550 Ti

GPU : Gforce GTX 550 Ti 1 Gig
CPU : Phenom II X2 550
RAM : 4Gigs
Driver : 320.18
OS : Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
Just to report my experience with Random FPS dropping for sustained periods of 5-6 seconds on max settings
with no override being used via NVidia controls.
I lower all settings using in game controls disabling anti aliasing / everything and still experience 1-2 second
Fps lag spikes.
Only resolution was using a complete override letting NVidia take charge resulting in the elimination
of fps drops with some quality loss basically looking at minimal quality graphics but everything is smooth
now .
