Fastest way to unlock the "Rank 3 outcome" and "100% speed" slots for Professions?

Topic. Currently levelling Leadership, and I see no way to unlock them using Leadership - a quick glance at the woefully outdated wiki confirms my suspicions.

I remember a bit of a post I read somewhere about getting 4 blue profession assets in Tailoring and using them to unlock the slot? Is that worthwhile? Then what about the Rank 3 outcome - how do you do that?

If anyone more experienced than me in the ways of crafting could help out that would be great. :)

(BTW - does the 5 day Celestial Coin reward give Profession Assets? the speed increase ones, I mean)

If you have 4 blues of anything EXCEPT mercs you can do the mass refinement task for the lowest crafting mat and unlock it.

Rank 3 outcome is hard to get without 4 epic tools. Even with 4 epics your chance to make a rank 3 is only 60%.

The 5 coin box is only for materials not assets. Not really worth it IMO.

The Blessed Profession Resource Pack is worth it if you're levelling one of the 4 crafting professions, if only for the 10 guaranteed Residuum. Levelling a crafting profession fast involves doing certain tasks that require Residuum (and then selling the resulting item on the AH for AD so you can buy more Residuum from the AH). The Pack gives a decent short term boost. You could of course go for the 7 coin Wonderous Coffer and hope for a Coalescent Ward to sell for a lot more AD instead, but that's not a guaranteed drop.

Otherwise, yes 4 smurf slaves of the same type is the cheapest way to unlock the 100% Speed slot. For the Rank 3 result you need access to a task that can give such a result, iirc those start to show up at skill level 13 for the crafting professions as a rare recipe. Leadership has no tasks with Ranks so far (unless there's a super rare one, that only shows up once the stars have aligned).

residuum is currently 699 AD on the AH each, so 6,990 AD

7 day box gets you at least a preservation ward (4,500) with a chance for a coalescent ward (111,000)

Sadly, no. The only sources of people assets that I know of are: both the 300 and 1600 Zen profession packs, lockboxes (only Leadership ones, it seems), the quest in Neverdeath. You can upgrade from green all the way through purple.

Last I bothered checking the price on Dragon it was 1-1.2k per, but nice to see that the price has dropped to a much more reasonable level.

And anyone paying more than AD exchange rate x 10 for a Preservation Ward is not too observant (100 Z = 10 Preservation Wards). When I logged off yesterday, the rate on Dragon was hovering around 350 (or ~3500 AD per ward), so if they actually sell* for 4k+ that's pure profit.

That Coalescent Wards sell for far less than AD Rate x 1000 is great for the buyers (would be ~350k AD on Dragon if buying from the Z store).

*Remember, what you see on the AH is whatever hasn't been sold yet.

If there is a super rare task for Leadership that can give a Rank 3 result, then no one can get it since there are no blue or purple infantry armor and infantry weapon.
