The devil's poker is broken

I spent over an hour to get to the gate I had the hammer but nothing happened. this quest and dungeons seems to be broken, also each time I died the monsters all responded, making multiples over and over. here is a screeny to prove I have the hammer.

Respawns just happen It's not the author's fault. I hate that too because if you have a Kill 5 groups of mobs a respawn can count which then throws the tracker off.

While I cannot see what your quest objective is in that picture, what I can see is a blue diamond on the map indicating there is a quest objective that needs to be completed behind you. I think this might be a mob encounter you have to defeat before you can continue onwards.

What does the quest objective say?
