Client Issues

It seems like im starting to have client issues as It started yesterday, Im on Windows 8 64 bit and It was working perfectly before but im not sure whats going on but I do know that windows 8 and games arent very friendly because every game that i've played on windows 8 it crashes when i mess with the video settings that begin said I've had my neverwinter video settings set perfectly and it was running fine then it started to act up when I Go to launch neverwinter it loads past the cryptic screen then it goes black and crashes, So i've booted the game in Safe mode this time it boots up fine and starts up fine but the only problem is in safe mode it starts up in 800x600 resolution and its all bunched up so i try to change the settings and it crashes. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? If not its all good.
