Why are dungeon delves only during time slots? This is a flaw in the design of this system for many reasons. Players want to feel rewarded for doing dungeons and will feel as if they are missing out on doing dungeon loot if they do not go at the delve time. This system alienates people from doing dungeons all together. Rather the opposite of the intent.
Perhaps what should be done is make a daily quest that unlocks the chest 1 or 2 times at the end of a dungeon. This way players are free to go on dungeons runs at their pace. Also it prevents unfortunate circumstances of people leaving the group at the boss and so on.
This system has a lot of advantages over the current system
1) Casual players are free to do a dungeon and get the delve reward at any time, and are not constrained around real life.
2) Medium-core players can pick and choose which dungeon they use their reward on, because they tend to help guildies currently during delves and may want to use their reward in a tier 2 dungeon later versus a tier 1 or lower.
3) Hardcore players benefit the most, because they can use the reward on the most difficult content only.
4) Disconnects, party leavers, spoilers, trolls, etc will not ruin anyone's delve time.
5) Gives all players an equal opportunity of advancement.
I realize the poor hardcore players under this system will not be able to stack 5+ delve chests in an hour anymore. Frozenheart gogogogo!
