Cryptic Launcher autoupdate!

When starting NW launcher the small boxed window (cryptic launcher autoupdate) opens up tries to update and patcher error window pops up "A file was locked that could not be open for writing".
This little problem annoyed me previously yestertoday and made me desperate. I uninstalled neverwinter, cleaned the registry rebooted and installed again (had old setup file laying on HD) patched the whole lot and played without any problems. I haven't changed a bit since my game worked after all this yesterday... Now the problem is back. Any leads as to the problem here???
Could open up with gameclient.exe but account log keeps getting "timed out"
