Trying to buy Zen

First, I tried the credit card link. It bounced. I tried again. It bounced. I called my bank, and they confirmed there were no attempted/pending charges to my card, and that my credit limit was not an issue.

Ok....I tried 'clickandbuy'. It seemed to be working ok, but then the process was brought to a halt because they had to 'confirm' my account by making two small charges to my card, (each charge was above one dollar, but below two). Both charges went through, and I received an email from them that my account was...as they put it...confirmed. I attempted to make a purchase. Nothing happens. I called 'clickandbuy', and got a computerized voice message. I wiped cookies, restarted my computer, and tried again, logging into 'clickandbuy' from scratch. Same thing....at the 'continue' button, nothing happens. I also can't manually copy/paste the link...that has been disabled, (at least in IE). A second call to my bank confirms there was not attempt by 'clickandbuy' to charge my card for my desired purchase.

Even though it's going to cost me a few bucks, I'll be contesting the 'clickandbuy' confirmation charges to my card. I've filed a complaint with them, and if I don't receive an adequate response in about a week, I'll be contacting my state's DA's office, and filing a complaint through them.

In the mean time, PW, I tried spending money on your game. If there is a preferred way to purchase Zen, please circle it in red. I'm not in the habit of searching for ways to spend my money on a given service provider, because it's usually they that try to ease the transfer of funds from my pocket to theirs.

I went with Paypal. My purchase was completed immediately, without issue, and without having to 'confirm' my card.

This. I pay with paypal but for added security on any web payment I also make sure that the card used for the paypal purchase is one of my credit cards. That way I have both the bank and Paypal's protection and insurance in case of a dispute.
I could pay directly from my account with a debit card but if paypal don't wish to help dispute a payment ( they are usually very good with that and even with large payment transactions over 10 thousand sterling ) then the debit card offers little to no payment protection.

Does not harm to have double protection in case of dispute.
