Neverwinter Twitter Account Guy / Community Manager - Opinions Please!

Hello All! I am the wise old Herbtrader with another thought-provoking thread! With the 30k of us following the Neverwinter twitter account, and the Tyr-knows how many of you following the Neverwinter Facebook account (handled by the same gentleman), what kinds of opinions have you developed since your time with Neverwinter began?

My personal opinion is a mixed and ever-evolving one, I must confess. The constant updating and (at minimum) hourly updates are enough to show me that he is still there (please don't leave me in this time of crisis oh PWE Liberal Art Dude from Cali!). But the almost "Jay Leno" style banter is such garbage, and the constant posts have zero substance! i.e. We "hope" to be "able" to "update" you all "soon". This is no different than "Yeah, girl... hopefully we can get together again. I'll hit you up soon!"... this is a LINE used to placate children, and not much different from how the "Community Manager" would have handled the crowds of restless moms at the Live Action Barney the Flippin' Purple Dinosaur Concert when Barney was too hungover from his night of binge drinking with strippers to start the show on time. *Guy walks out, tells everyone that things will be rolling "Shortly", and while we wait, what kinds of foods do our little babies like the most? And who has a cute story they would like to share?* Stop "Managing" me, and tell us what the founder is going on. ONE TWITTER POST stating something like "Sorry guys... one of our guys screwed up. The game is broke. Check back tomorrow for more." would have sufficed. Instead, I believe you kept a mob of angry moms and toddlers in a crowded auditorium for 10 hours, with hopes of seeing a purple dino "Soon". Once he comes out, will we all just leave? Or worse yet, will a little piece of us die, as well as a little piece of the hearts of the imaginary children in this ridiculous post of mine, resulting in a darker world for all mankind? I think beer.

It's twitter, kinda of appropriate for the medium. If you want more professional language then wait the hours on hours for the official release on the forums. I enjoyed the entertainment on twitter, I think more games should adopt this approach during downtimes especially since it was late night EST, can't really go outside and do anything.

Also I thought he maintained professionalism, for a 'surfer dude', as he had to deal with incredibly rude players at times and did so with tact. Kudos TurtleTrail...or TrailTurtle...or whatever it was haha. Can we still see him eat a hat?! I'll trade my 'care package' for that!
