So is /zone in PvP Weird? Or am I Dumb? (Or: Who can Post in /zone in PvP?)

Many things being posted there don't make sense in one's own game (even considering some chat entries are from the opponent) so I concluded: /zone @ pvp is for, well, all/many pvp games? If I concluded right: It sucks!
but I probably failed at concluding though, so: Who can post in /zone @ pvp?

Anyone currently in a PvP match as the same map as you, regardless of whether its in your game, can talk in zone chat. It works the same way for dungeons as well.

Use party chat and ignore zone channels if you are grouped and want to send information.
