Shared Quests

I have an unstable group that I play with.. (family)
We are often trying to get everyone on the same quest sets.
Though sharing works, it doesn't unlock the next quest in the series.. (sometimes that is a level restriction), but the same quest is still available to be picked up again if it was shared instead of granted by the quest giver.
We end up having to run some quests 4 or 5 times to get past it.
shorter version: Shared quests aren't listed as completed with the quest giver.
