Making an invisible NPC

Is it possible to create an NPC that the players can interact with, but cannot be seen?

I want them to have a "conversation" with a lamp, but I can't really do that well with the current set up.
Religion - 60 GF (15.3k GS)
The Seeker - 60 DC (11.5k GS)
Faithless - 60 CW (10k GS)

    There is a ghost skin that has no model you can use for invis people.

    You could make the lamp a conversation piece if you wanted, but im not sure if you can make it like a dialog quest objective, I havent tried that yet.

    You cannot make it a dialog objective, which is my desire. I'll try the ghost, thanks!

    Nevermind, I see what you mean. You're wanting to use it for an objective update, which only works with real NPCs.

    That's a silly restriction. But, a Ghost could probably work for what you need.

    Another option would be to work around the NPC restriction. Instead of a Dialog update, make it an Interact update and the Interactable only appears after speaking with the lamp. Then give instructions in the quest tracker on how to obtain the object "Speak with the lamp, then pick up the book on the table", etc.

    I could be wrong on this... but doesn't the inspect objective basically do this?
