Green leadership tools

Do the green leadership tools provide any kind of benefit whatsoever over the white ones you can buy from a merchant? I know they do not list any bonus they provide in the description but was wondering if anyone had any idea as to the difference between green and white tools.

    The uncommon and up tools double in quality gained which increases your chances for getting higher results from tasks that have multiple results.

    Thanks Morbic, so for leadership does this mean you can get upgraded chests as rewards?

    No Leadership task has multiple Tiers so far, however the chests have a small chance of opening as if they were of a higher quality.
