Hey guys, I have a GF level 20, for now I did nothing but tanking Clock Tower, and missions with a friend (Control Wizard). Both missions and in the dungeon I'm having serious trouble keeping the threat, as soon as Enforced Threat's effect vanishes every single mob goes after the other members of the party... :(

My rotation is:

Single target: Mark, Lunging Strike, Griffon Wrath, Tide of Iron (and sometimes even Enforced Threat)
Multi target: Enforced Threat, Terrifying Impact if available, and Tide of Iron on main target, or Crushing Surge/Cleave.

I ussually don't understand how I lose aggro, I'm always doing something, moving and hitting enemies, but It just isn't enough... :(

Well... any advice is more than welcome, ty!

PS: Potent Challenge and Enhanced Mark full.

This isn't WoW. You can't hold aggro like it is. You need to stay on a target to keep aggro. Your job as a GF is to hold the biggest baddest guy in the room & maybe 1-4 of his friends (if they stay together). You are a boss tank, if you want to hold the 40 adds that spawn sometime, make a GWF & spec sentinel. You hold the Big guy that can kill everyone, controllers can control the adds, GWF can gather their aggro off the cleric & mow them down (it does not take long).

Check out my response a few threads down from this one titled "Tips for a new GF." Hopefully something in that thread will help!

In some lvls you will get threatening rush which is kind of like a spammable lunging strike that does an aoe mark. That is the best way to keep planting your marks. Then soon as you connect hold block and spam stab. With your threat skills that you have maxed, you should be able to hold aggro on any boss but groups are still going to give you problems even with enforced threat 90% of the time.

Don't do rotations, do whatever is needed at that time.

Anyway at lvl 35 once you have threatening rush you can really hold most things.
As long as you max out the enchanted mark passive (or whatever the name of the passive that adds threat to your mark is) and have your aoe taunt on the hotbar, you will overaggro anything that isn't being focus hit on.

For the targets that are being hit on by others, you will need to dps them yourself.
Threatening rush into them will aoe mark all targets near the one you hit
Just spanking them with Cleave and whatever other damaging encounters you have will win the aggro back for you.
Since your attacks on market targets generate like 3x more threat with the passive and it generates some threat while they are marked on its own as well.

Yep, it seems that at lv 35 things get a bit better in threat-generating terms.

Thanks for the advice guys :)
